Class Descriptions
Element Tumble & Cheer offers classes for all ages and abilities. At ETC providing athletes with a safe and fun environment is our number one priority. Our coaches are dedicated to providing exemplary personal coaching and positive support to all athletes. We understand that families are busier than ever these days, so we schedule our classes accordingly, so a family can schedule classes back to back on the same night.
Mom & Tot (18 months – 2 1/2 yrs)
This class is specially designed with hands on equipment and soft mat space to help young children enhance their locomotion skills, social skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, positive self image, listening skills and learning to take turns with other children.
Cheerleading
Tiny Twisters (ages 3-4)
Is an introductory tumbling class. Athletes will learn basic tumbling skills to help improve the development of gross motor skills.
Show Team “Hot Cakes” (ages 3-6)
Athletes will be introduced to the exciting world of all-star cheerleading! They will get to perform at 3-4 competitions and they get to war a uniform.
Mini Hurricanes Cheer Class (ages 5-7)
Athletes will learn cheers, chants, dance, motion technique, voice projection, and jumps. A tumbling class is recommended as a supplement.
Ignite Tryout Prep (Middle/High School Athletes)
Athletes will work on sharpening skills to get the most points during tryouts. Classes will focus on cheer/dance and jumps. A supplemental tumbling class is recommened.
Tumbling
Our tumbling program is designed to develop balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility. Students will learn a progression of skills in a safe, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Tumbling I
Athletes will focus on basic tumbling skills such as cartwheels, handstands, round offs, forward rolls, back walkovers. Athletes will be introduced to back handspring.
Tumbling II
Athletes will perfect level I tumbling skills. Athletes will work on standing back handspring, round off back handspring, and multiple back handsprings. Athletes will be introduced to back tucks.
Tumbling III
Athletes must be able to demonstrate multiple back handsprings. Athletes will work on perfecting standing and running tucks and punch fronts.
Tumbling IV
Athletes must be able to demonstrate tumbling levels I-III. Athletes will learn layouts, fulls, and all front tumbling.</p>
